Our
IPAF Training Course
International Powered Access Federation
Sky High Access offer a wide range of training courses which
cover all areas of mobile elevated working platforms (MEWP).
We operate an International Powered Access Federation (IPAF)
registered training scheme which will result in the user being awarded a five year qualification to
allow them to operate access platforms. It is widely recommended throughout the industry
that users of access equipment posses an IPAF qualification, and that is where
we come in!
The training course lasts one day, covering all aspects of the
IPAF training scheme. All courses are taken by fully qualified IPAF
trainers, and consist of two sections. The morning session involves a
course outline and basic theory test, followed by an afternoon practical session
on the access platforms.
Successful trainees are awarded the PAL Card
(Powered Access Licence), the most widely held and recognised proof of training
for platform operators. This is valid for 5 years. IPAF members enjoy
access to advisory, information, insurance and translation services.
Refreshments are provided during the day, so there is no
need to bring lunch!
The training course costs £190.00 + VAT including
registration.
